Bigg, thank you to our Division of Student Affairs for pouring into our students and giving them the platform to shine!
Norfolk State University’s Engineering Department was proud to participate in the 9th Annual Black Philanthropy Month Celebration – Afrofuturism: Black to the Future.
Our Spartan representatives showcased the innovation, talent, and excellence that define NSU through engaging demonstrations in solar energy, optical communications, drone technology, and a virtual tour of the Micron–NSU Cleanroom.
Visitors also had the opportunity to learn more about our nationally recognized programs in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Materials Science Engineering.
A special thank you to Dr. Patricia F. Mead, Professor and Chair of Engineering and Assistant Professor, Dr. Jones, for sharing the incredible opportunities available within the department and highlighting the groundbreaking research taking place at Norfolk State University.
