Virginia Wesleyan University Black Student Union Embracing diversity in a peaceful, yet powerful way. General Meetings are Thursdays at 5 pm in the We push to have the "uncomfortable" conversations.

Our main priority is to bring awareness to enduring societal issues. Especially those that affect minorities, including women and the LGBT community, and any other underrepresented group. Secondly, we wish to promote a more inclusive community at Virginia Wesleyan College. Our campus is full of students from different cultures and backgrounds. In order to understand each other, and our differences

, it is vital that we mingle and connect. This also serves as a platform for people to show off their culture, heritage, and pride. We encourage students of any culture, race, and background to join our force.
