We had a great time at Terminus! This film and trip would have never happened if not for the 25+ crew members that brought “The Friend Zone” to life. Shout out to Darin Dixson Jr, Thomas Eanes, and Molly Simpson for getting us nominated for Best Production Design!! You guys are the bomb. Thank you to the entire cast and crew for working your butts off! Now onto the next👉🏼

Hi, everyone!

Just a little summer motivation!

I found this short film that was made with a budget of literally $0 and 4 crew members (including the actor and actress). While this isn't anything to marvel at, the film was picked up by a festival, won Best Actress and Director's Choice, and was screened at Alamo Drafthouse! This goes to prove that all you need to make something successful is the creativity and initiative to do so! Get out there and make something awesome.

Alright, unless everyone flocks to the poll and votes for Tampopo, it looks like the Tuesday night screening will be for The Dirties.

Now, I have to issue a disclaimer. This film deals with very mature themes that are especially sensitive to our times, such as school shootings and bullying. So, if you will be uncomfortable or upset during this film, I do not recommend this for you.

This film will not be for everyone but I definitely think it is definitely an experience worth having.

The doors will open at 7:45, and the movie will begin at 8:15 tomorrow.

The ODU film club will hold their final meeting of the year next week. Next year is shaping up to be the best one yet. We hope the club was a safe space for Old Dominion University students of every class and background. A place where students could create, practice, form friendships, feel equal, get honest feedback, talk about movies, and learn something about the process of making them too. If you were a member this year, we hope you stay and if you weren’t, come in and check us out next Fall. Essentially, we’re just a group of friends that want to learn and make movies together. There’s nothing better.
