🎉 Student Spotlight: Hannah Blanton ✨
We are happy to share that Hannah was one of only three dental hygiene students on the East Coast selected for the Dental Hygiene Nation Student Internship at RDH Under One Roof!
Through this incredible opportunity, Hannah received an almost all-expenses-paid trip to the conference and served as a content creator, helping promote the Dental Hygiene Nation booth on social media. She also assisted at the booth, interacted with attendees, sold merchandise, and connected with dental hygienists from across the country.
The internship included access to a Dental Hygiene Seminars Board Review, a cash stipend, hotel accommodations at the Ga***rd National Resort and Convention Center, meals during exhibit hours, parking reimbursement, and lots of Dental Hygiene Nation merchandise. But beyond those benefits, Hannah gained the opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds in the profession, meet clinicians, educators, content creators, and brands she has admired for years, and build meaningful connections with fellow dental hygienists and students.
Here’s what Hannah had to say about her experience:
“RDH UOR exceeded every expectation I had. I attended networking events, explored the latest innovations in dentistry and dental hygiene, made new friends, collected more dental goodies than I could fit in my suitcase, and even enjoyed the after-parties. More than anything, the experience reminded me how passionate, innovative, and supportive the dental hygiene profession truly is. It’s rare to be surrounded by so many people who genuinely love talking about teeth as much as you do, and to say I was in my element would be an understatement.
I am incredibly grateful to Dental Hygiene Nation for this opportunity, as well as my faculty, friends, and family who encouraged and supported me throughout the process. The experience strengthened my passion for dental hygiene, expanded my professional network, and left me even more excited to begin my senior year and continue growing as a future RDH.”
