The Educational Leadership Program uses a cohort model where you will attend live, online classes in the evening throughout your program. The unique online learning environment enables our students and faculty to engage in a class setting that simulates a face-to-face classroom. Our program caters to full-time working professionals.
You can learn more here (& find the link to apply)! https://www.odu.edu/academics/programs/doctoral/educational-leadership Classes are held on Thursday evenings via Zoom. The Ph.D. in Education with a Concentration in Educational Leadership Cohort (60 credits) is designed for educational leaders working full-time in PK-12 schools and divisions and this is not a licensure program. PK-12 school leaders take classes as part of a cohort in which students discuss and research educational problems of practice and policy. Course content is designed to help students use research, theory, and their own professional expertise to advance organizational change in their own organizations. The Cohort program builds an intensive professional learning community in an executive-style accelerated doctoral program.
