WEI at Heartland Community College The Workforce Equity Initiative helps participants secure a well-paid, full-time career. The grant pays for tuition, fees, books and more.

Available certificates can be completed in a year or less and are in areas with high employment opportunities.

Yesterday, our team along with the Career Center at Heartland Community College had the absolute pleasure of presenting to the Sunset Rotary Club of Bloomington-Normal

We loved sharing the life-changing impact WEI is making for our students and in our community. But even more than that, we loved discovering so many beautiful ways to align our mission with their core values of Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity, and Leadership!

We traded laptops for safety goggles during today's visit with our John A. Logan Colleagues!

We veered off campus to tour Rivian's Training Center. This visit was a collaborative effort, beautifully spearheaded by the HCC Apprenticeship program alongside the Career Center.

We had the opportunity to see firsthand how they set their apprentice up for success. How wonderful it is to to share knowledge and build bridges that fuel student success.

A huge thanks to Rivian for opening their doors to us today!
