Sigma Alpha is a professional women's agricultural sorority, the pillars that we were founded on are scholarship, leadership, fellowship and service. Through the support of our sisters, we believe that each individual can gain valuable connections and experiences that will help them excel in their agricultural career path.

RECRUITMENT WEEK NIGHTS 1+2 🦆🩷🦌 We are so happy with the turn out, and we can’t wait for what the rest of the week holds! We kicked off the week with an orientation for our potential new members can see what Sigma Alpha is about. We celebrated sisterhood on Tuesday with a trucker hat bar! We would love to give a huge thank you to poppi for sending us some soda to share on our sisterhood night ✨it added the perfect touch and we couldn’t have done it without you!!

This past Monday, our members were able to help McLean County's Ag in the Classroom Program prepare materials for one of their upcoming projects! We would like to thank Ms. Vogel for continuing to work with us!

Member Spotlight! ✨🐾💗
Meet our Vice President, Abby Erlenbush:
Abby is a junior majoring in Animal Science and Ag Communications & Leadership. She is a part of the Ag community to carry on her grandfathers legacy of raising, breeding, and showing Missouri Fox trotters. He was never able to attend college for Animal Science like he wanted to, so Abby is completing it for the both of them!

Some advice she has for future Sigma Alpha members is to go up to someone new and start a conversation. You never know who may become your best friend one day! Her favorite memory was every recruitment week because she was able to meet new potential members while doing different activities ☺️

Thank you for all that you do Abby! Have an amazing Junior year ✨

For today’s member Spotlight, we have Carley King!
Carley was a senior this year and just graduated with a degree in Comm Studies with a sequence in Organizational & Group leadership. We are so proud of you!!

Carley joined Sigma Alpha because a few of her friends were in it and she thought it would be a lot of fun, so she joined us her senior year! Even though Carley wasn’t an active member for very long, she lit up every room she went it and made many fun memories with us! In the fall, Carley will be officially moving to Walt Disney World and continue her career there. Congratulations ✨🐭

We wish you the best Carley! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
