OIE staff had a great day of team building today and are ready to welcome new students next week at International Student Orientation! We learned how to be stronger together and how to manage difficult situations. Ended the day with a succulent activity that will be a continual reminder of why we do this work.

Happy Birthday to Pawfficer Sage from OIE - she's a staff favorite in our office!

Guess who’s turning 7 soon?! 🎉

That’s right! Pawfficer Sage is celebrating another birthday tomorrow, while many of you are celebrating Independence Day and watching those pretty lights in the sky. For her birthday present this year, Sage tells us she wants you to have a fun and safe holiday!

Remember:

1. Never use illegal fireworks. A list of approved and prohibited fireworks can be found at sfm.illinois.gov.
2. Make smart choices if you choose to drink. Alcohol and fireworks do NOT mix.
3. Designate a sober driver.
