Join CSPA this summer for a virtual book club to discuss The Caring University by Kevin R. McClure! Many of our students and faculty had the opportunity to hear Dr. McClure’s keynote during the 2026 annual NASPA conference, and we want to continue the conversation. Ashley is spending her summer helping students build confidence with their finances! ☀️💸
 
This summer, Ashley will be working with the Redbird Flight Plan, a wellness initiative focused on promoting financial literacy and reducing money stress for students. This program aims to build stronger financial wellness resources for the upcoming school years.
 
In her role, Ashley will be researching best practices for wellness programming, helping provide financial resources for students, and assisting in the design of financial literacy modules. She’ll also be helping plan a future “Financial Literacy Week” coming this fall! ✈️📚

As a special projects intern, she’ll be helping bring together the extra pieces that make programs stand out, from career services events to experiences that support both families and incoming students.
