OLLI at OU OLLI offers the mature learners of Oklahoma a chance to participate in a wide variety of non-credit educational programs taught by OU faculty and staff.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Oklahoma, known as OLLI, offers non-credit programs for everyone age 50+. OLLI courses are offered in a wide range of subjects, with the purpose of giving participants an opportunity to learn in a challenging yet fun learning environment.

The Brooklyn Bridge, which opened in 1883, spans the East River and connects the great cities of New York and Brooklyn for the first time in history. Thousands of residents of Brooklyn and Manhattan Island turned out to witness the dedication ceremony, which was presided over by President Chester A. Arthur and New York Governor Grover Cleveland. Designed by the late John A. Roebling, the Brooklyn Bridge was the largest suspension bridge ever built to that date.
