The Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated Physical & Mental Health Committee, joined forces with the SCDHSโ€™ Office of Minority Health, to host a powerful conversation on Menโ€™s Health!

โ€œSupporting Menโ€™s Health: Cancer Education and Community Uplift!โ€ was a night sponsored and supported by our community partners: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Witness Project of Long Island, the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Nassau-Suffolk Counties, Stony Brook Medicine, and more!!

This night was filled with great health information from our clinical and community experts, coupled with heartfelt moments of transparency as we supported Men through their health journey. It was clear that this program was much needed and not enough. There was not enough time to address every concern, which demonstrates the need for these conversation to continue. Stay tuned for Part 2, and because we cannot do this alone, we look forward to expanding our partnership opportunities in the near future. We hope you all will continue to join us for our future health initiatives!!!
