Not every simulation involves a manikin.

Our standardized patients help bring clinical encounters to life by portraying patients in a consistent, realistic way and giving students the opportunity to practice communication, assessment, professionalism, and clinical decision-making.

They help create a safe place to practice the human side of healthcare — listening, connecting, responding, and caring.

We’re so grateful for the people who step into these roles and help prepare our students for the real patients they will one day serve. 💙
