The Pathology team at Cummings School's Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals discovered a novel species of the Castellaniella bacteria, publishing it the Journal of Applied Microbiology.
“I was not expecting this case to be a novel bacterial species. In this case, we were working with hospitalized dogs.”
