Dr. Cassie Gohn is beginning her 10th academic year in Manchester's Niswander Department of Biology. Whether she's helping students understand course material, explore career options or simply offering support, building relationships is at the center of her work.
One of her favorite experiences is watching biology students teach hands-on science activities to local children through a partnership with the North Manchester Public Library.
Fun fact: Cassie describes herself as very introverted, which makes her career in teaching all the more surprising. Her local favorite? El Mez.

Board meetings and homecoming weekend packed into a few great days! I was so busy talking with our amazing alumni and attending games, I forgot to grab pictures. I did get a few including one when I got to work in the concession booth, and early yesterday morning running with my sister. 💛🖤💛🖤

For 25 years, Adam Hohman has helped ensure Manchester University students have access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. As director of institutional research, he works behind the scenes with data and compliance reporting that support accreditation and financial aid eligibility

Adam says the people are what make Manchester special. One favorite memory involves an ice cream social nearly derailed by melting treats until a group of creative problem-solvers built a makeshift cooler and saved the day. It's a story that reflects the teamwork and community he values most.

A lifelong collector, Adam is always curating something, and when he's not on campus, you'll likely find him enjoying queso at El Mez. For him, Manchester is all about people coming together when it matters most.
