Did you know that thanks to a grant from the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR), Bethel College Nursing students have access to loaned textbooks each semester?

Students check out the books at the beginning of the semester and return them at the end, helping reduce the cost of earning a nursing degree.

It’s just one more way we’re committed to making a high-quality nursing education more affordable and accessible for our students! 🩶📚

For the third time in the past five years, our graduating seniors have achieved a 100% first-time NCLEX-RN pass rate! Even more impressive, our program has maintained a 100% overall NCLEX-RN pass rate for 14 consecutive years. We are incredibly proud of our graduates and the dedication, hard work, and excellence they continue to demonstrate.

And for our last, but certainly not least senior spotlight, we are introducing Lisa!

🩺I hail from Port-au-Prince, and I am an island girl at heart. My passion is living life on my own terms. My motto is, “If you don’t live on you, then who else will?”, so you better clap for yourself. Family plays a huge role in who I am and keeps me grounded. I love traveling, exploring new places, finding great vegan food spots, reading and writing poetry, and spending time at thrift stores and farmers’ markets.

🩺My aspirations is to pursue my dreams of becoming both a CRNA and a Nurse Practitioner. I hope to one day split my time between my homeland, Haiti, and wherever life takes me, using the skills and knowledge I have gained to help those back home. I believe everyone deserves proper access to healthcare, no matter their circumstances.

🩺Bethel College happened unexpectedly after I was placed on another schools waiting list. Looking back, it was a blessing in disguise because it led me to Bethel’s program through a friend’s recommendation. I was drawn to the smaller class sizes and the professors’ dedication to their students.

🩺My advice to future nursing students is that you get out of it what you put into it. Remember, you are in college, and no one is going to hold your hand through the process. Speak up and advocate for yourself when you need help, and you will see your village begin to form around you. Nursing school is challenging, and having a strong support system makes all the difference.

Our next senior spotlight is all about the lovely Jenny!

🩺I’m from Wichita, Ks. My daughter is my biggest motivation to keep pushing through and I’m so blessed to have my husband, parents and sisters as my village.

🩺I hope to work as a pediatric nurse, and eventually become a school nurse! I

🩺I transferred to Bethel after getting my associates degree at Butler because of their small class sizes and first time NCLEX passing rate!

🩺My advice to future students is to prioritize and use a planner. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and lean on your classmates.

Introducing Lexi Moore

🩺I am from Wichita Kansas. I transferred to bethel after getting my associates at Pratt community college where I also cheered. I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, doing nails and dancing in my free time.

🩺My dream specialty is aesthetic nursing and the nicu!

🩺I chose Bethel because of the small class sizes and first time NCLEX pass rate. They just have a great reputation when it comes to nursing

🩺My advice would be to stay organized and don’t forget to take care of you. Nursing school is all about time management. Don’t be so hard on yourself! You are a person before a student
