A bit about the exhibit:
From a quick, improvisational monoprint called Long Dog, this exhibition grew into an exploration of the space between clear thought and the hazy, dreamlike world just beyond the corner of your eye.
In this “other” space, the boundaries between real and unreal, truth and untruth, become less rigid. The works in this show act as souvenirs and ambassadors from that place—an antidote to industrialization and rigidity, and a source of inspiration.
Horses become guides between worlds, carrying us across distances that might otherwise be impossible to cross. Like Falada in The Goose Girl, whose decapitated head continues to speak for his rider, they help bridge gaps between space, time, and even death.
Come spend some time in the “other.”
