Iowa PBS produced a fantastic documentary on NU’s own Grenville M. Dodge, 1851 graduate, U.S. Representative, Civil War general, national railroad surveyor for the Illinois Central and the Union Pacific railroads, and chief engineer of the Union Pacific Railroad. Come see the film and learn about Norwich University’s own Dodge collection available in Archives and Special Collections.

NU Archives is THRILLED to host Col. Leanne Chabior for a special talk later this month here at Norwich. We have a collection featuring her letters, logs, images, and more from her service as commander of the 912th Forward Surgical Team during Operation Enduring Freedom. This collection is amazing, and we cannot wait to hear Col. Chabior share her memories directly with our nursing students and the entire NU community.

The lucky winners get a free beverage at the Daily Grind in the Kreitzberg Library - answers in the comments.

Have you heard about the great Grenville Dodge documentary from Iowa PBS? It is extremely well done and highlights how NU's own Dodge was a man of passion, talent, and commitment. Even better news is that Norwich University Archives and Special Collections is hosting a screening at 5 pm on September 25th on campus, in the new Cyber Fusion Center. This will be open to students, faculty/staff, and the community. More details to follow.
