Jacqueline Salazar is entering her final year at Nazarian College with new industry experience and career momentum.

This summer, the marketing major and real estate minor shadowed commercial real estate professionals at Marcus & Millichap, gaining firsthand exposure to the industry and exploring potential career paths. This fall, she will build on that experience by attending an ICSC conference in San Diego with fellow CSUN Real Estate Club members.

For Salazar, campus involvement has also been key to finding community. As a first-generation and commuter student, her involvement with the Real Estate Club and Kappa Kappa Gamma has helped her build friendships, leadership experience and professional connections.

Her advice to students beginning a new semester is simple: get involved.
