CSU-ERFSA Welcomes New Executive Director

Apr 7, 2026

Dr. Christine M. Miller has been appointed Executive Director of the California State University Emeritus and Retired Faculty and Staff Association (CSU-ERFSA). A Professor Emerita of Communication Studies at Sacramento State, she brings extensive experience in CSU leadership, including service as Interim Vice Provost for Student Academic Success and Chair of the Academic Senate of the California State University.

Dr. Miller continues to teach through the Faculty Early Retirement Program (FERP), including work with incarcerated students in Sacramento State’s Transforming Outcomes Project (TOPSS).
