Weekend of Scholarship, Service & Sisterhood 🤍💙💛
This weekend was a beautiful reminder that Divine Nine is more than the colors we wear—it is the common purpose we share.
On Saturday, we had the honor of attending the 10th Annual Scholarship Luncheon hosted by the Delta Iota Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. under the leadership of President Bill Brevard. It was wonderful to fellowship alongside the Sorors of Pi Lambda Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Madame President Donna Smith. As always, it was an outstanding afternoon celebrating education, leadership, and community.
On Sunday, we represented while having the pleasure of attending the annual Iota Chi Sigma Scholarship Luncheon hosted by the New Haven Alumae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., hosted by Madame President, Tonetica Sanchez. The event was filled with excellence, inspiration, and well-deserved recognition of our future leaders.
Two incredible days. Two remarkable organizations. One shared mission among us all.
Congratulations to every scholarship recipient and awardee! Your hard work and dedication are being recognized, and your future is bright.
As members of the Divine Nine, we continue to demonstrate that our greatest legacy is found in our commitment to service, scholarship, leadership, and uplifting our communities. May we continue to support one another’s events, celebrate each other’s successes, and invest in the next generation.
Community over competition. Collaboration over comparison. Service above self.
