The first annual Midwest Imaging and Microanalysis Workshop will be held at the University of Notre Dame on May 19-20, 2014. The workshop theme is advances in in-situ electron microscopy and atomic structure analysis and will include featured talks from university, government, and industry leaders including Ohio State University, University of Notre Dame, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Brookhaven National Laboratory, FEI Inc., GATAN Inc., OXFORD Inc., and Ameteck Inc. In addition to technical talks, there will be hands-on company demonstrations using the electron microscopy suite housed in the Notre Dame Integrated Imaging Facility (NDIIF), as well as a graduate student poster session. The meeting is designed for both experts and non-experts, so feel free to come out and learn more about the future of electron microscopy regardless of your previous experience.

Participation is free, but registration gets you a free lunch! You can find the registration form at http://ndiif.nd.edu/events. Talks will be held at the Morris Inn on the Notre Dame campus.
