We wrapped up Spirit Week & Club Rush in true Merritt fashion—by showing up and showing OUT! 🙌

Students, staff, faculty, and administrators proudly rocked their favorite Merritt hoodies, tees, and swag to celebrate what it means to be part of this amazing community. 🐾

From student leaders hosting games 🎲 to clubs fundraising with fresh popcorn 🍿, and the Criminal Justice Club tabling and connecting with students—there was energy, engagement, and Panther pride all around the Student Center!

On April 8th, our campus came together for a powerful and inspiring event, Leadership from the Heart, hosted by the Puente Project, United Panthers, and the Aspira Project.

We were honored to welcome Aurora Carmelita López, founder of Semillas of Love (SOL), as our keynote speaker. 🌱 Her message centered on immigrant rights, community organizing, and healing through love, culture, and ancestral wisdom. She reminded us that leadership isn’t just about position—it’s about purpose, compassion, and uplifting our communities.
