College of Central Florida, Phi Theta Kappa Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the largest National Honor Society for colleges. Kappa Nu is the PTK chapter for the College of Central Florida.

We have representatives on both our Ocala campus as well as our Citrus and Levy campuses. Phi Theta Kappa has recognized academic excellence in college since 1918 and has become the largest, and most prestigious, honor society serving colleges around the world. Kappa Nu had on last stop before heading back to Florida. To see the Baltimore Orioles beat the Minnesota Twins 8 to 6 and take the series on kids opening weekend at Camden Yards. They did need to brave the cold temps and are ready for Florida weather. Still a great trip!

Kappa Nu came to Baltimore full of energy and eager to learn. They are leaving PTK Catalyst 2026 with numerous scholarships, New Advisor Paragon Award, Continued Excellence Advisor Award, College Project Award, Honors in Action Project Award, Top 100 Distinguished Chapter recognition , and Distinguished Chapter Award! It will be interesting to see “What’s Next” for the 2026-27 Kappa Nu officer team. They are energized to try to top the work of the 2025-26 team. They have all embraced PTK hallmarks of Leadership, Fellowship, Scholarship and Service. As their advisor, I cannot be more proud of a group of student leaders.
