All courses and programs are designed to give students cutting-edge skills and prepare for one of the Computer Studies Department's majors, certificates of proficiency and achievement in order to enter the job market, and gain o

r upgrade their computer skills for immediate employment needs. There are multiple career options and preparation for professional industry certifications is also offered.

Congrats CSIT Grads!

We are incredibly proud of our CSIT graduates who earned Associate Degrees, Certificates of Achievement, and Certificates of Proficiency this year!

MiraCosta celebrated over 1,900 graduates, with more than 6,000 family members and friends filling Frontwave Arena to honor this milestone achievement. The CSIT Department was proud to celebrate a large graduating class this year, including 19 students who completed our new Artificial Intelligence pathway. Congratulations to all of our graduates as they take the next step in their academic and professional journeys!

As MiraCosta College Superintendent/President Dr. Sunny Cooke shared, “The Class of 2026 represents resilience, determination, and hope.”
