Among the more than 600 accredited paramedic programs in the United States, the Dumke College of Health Professions at Weber State University consistently achieves one of the nation's highest first-attempt pass rates on the National Registry Paramedic examination, particularly for a program of our size. While the national first-attempt pass rate is approximately 75%, we consistently maintained first-attempt pass rates between 98% and 100% across all rolling three-year periods since transitioning to National Registry certification in the early 2000s. Prior to that transition, no Weber State paramedic graduate had ever failed the Utah State Paramedic examination.
This sustained record of success reflects the quality of our students, faculty, and curriculum, as well as our commitment to educational excellence.

Free Flu Shot Clinic for WSU Students!
Protect yourself this flu season by getting a free flu shot at Weber State University's on-campus flu shot clinic. Flu shots will be available to currently enrolled students on a first-come, first-served basis, Sept. 23-24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Shepherd Union Atrium on the Ogden campus. Full-time, benefit-eligible faculty and staff are not eligible for student healthcare services, including flu shots.
