Recently Clinical Assistant Professor Dr. Sandi Mellor along with colleague Raina Leckie, DSW, LCSW represented the OU Health Campus Interdisciplinary Programs IEPA Research Committee at NEXUS Summit 2026. The presentation, "Closing the Loop: Translating Teamwork Assessment into Curriculum and Faculty Development Improvement", is about integrating data into systematic program evaluation and continuous improvement.

College of Nursing faculty Dr. Kacy Aderhold and Asst. Dean for Student Affairs Margaret Robinson were involved as authors along with other IPE faculty.

Today we’re celebrating an incredible group of nurses whose dedication makes a difference every day across the Harold Hamm Health Campus at the University of Oklahoma.

More than 30 nurses from OU Health and The University of Oklahoma Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing have been recognized by the Great 100 Nurses Foundation, an honor that recognizes registered nurses across the state for their commitment to patient care, the nursing profession, leadership and service to their communities.

Representing nearly one-third of 2026 statewide honorees, these nurses exemplify the compassion, expertise and excellence that define nursing across our academic health system.

“I am incredibly proud to congratulate our nurses recognized among the 2026 Great 100 Nurses of Oklahoma,” said Dr. Stefanie Beavers, chief nurse executive at OU Health. “This honor reflects not only their compassion and commitment to exceptional patient care, but also the many ways nurses lead, mentor and strengthen our profession. These honorees represent the excellence we strive for across our academic health system and the meaningful difference nurses make every day for our patients, families, colleagues and communities.”

"I am honored to return to the College of Nursing and look forward to celebrating our students, supporting their success, and being of service to the University as we prepare the next generation of nursing leaders," said Margaret Robinson.

Margaret previously served 14 years in Student Affairs within the College of Nursing before spending nearly a decade leading Interprofessional Education initiatives at the OU Health Campus. During her time in IPE, she supported student success, community engagement, workforce development, faculty development, and collaborative practice initiatives, while also contributing as a national presenter, published author, and international interprofessional education researcher.
