On October 23 our MNU Concert Band performed Journeys, an evening of music inspired by adventure, exploration, and discovery.

From the epic voyages of Odysseus to incredible landscapes around the world, this program traced musical journeys across history, literature, and culture.

Thank you to everyone who attended in support of our students.

MNU partnered with College Church of the Nazarene to host the Heart of Ministry Experience earlier this week. Nearly 500 participants found hope, encouragement, and renewal through worship, prayer, workshops, and keynotes from General Superintendent Dr. David Busic, Rev. Dr. Richard Griffiths, and Rev. Selena Freeman.

Special thanks to our sponsors and partners for this inaugural event! HOME returns in October 2028 and we're already looking forward to it.

MNU's School of Education was awarded the Frank Murray Leadership Recognition for Continuous Improvement and was honored at the Fall 2026 CAEPcon in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. Jill Gonzalez-Bravo, associate dean of the School of Education (second from left), accepted the award on behalf of MNU and the School of Education.

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation presented the award, recognizing educator-preparation programs that earned accreditation with no stipulations or areas for improvement. Recipients must demonstrate strong evidence, positive data trends and a commitment to continually strengthening the way future teachers are prepared. MNU was one of 31 educator-preparation providers recognized nationally this year.

Congratulations to the fine team of faculty and administrative staff who lead our School of Education!
