This summer, Creighton School of Law students experienced international criminal law where its foundations were built.

Through the Nuremberg to The Hague (N2H) Summer Program, students traveled through Germany and Poland, standing in Courtroom 600, where the Nuremberg Trials forever changed the course of international law. Along the way, they met with diplomats, legal scholars and practitioners, visited organizations advancing the Nuremberg Principles and reflected on how the lessons of history continue to shape the pursuit of justice today.

The experience challenged students to think beyond the classroom, connecting historical events with today’s global legal landscape and deepening their understanding of accountability, human rights and the role lawyers play in serving others.

Programs like N2H are a powerful example of experiential learning at Creighton that prepare students to become thoughtful advocates and ethical leaders equipped to make an impact around the world.
