From Brother Mitch Clemons at Plattsmouth Lodge No. 6 --

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible effort and coordination that went into making my Raising on May 23, 2026, such a memorable occasion. Holding the Master Mason Degree at the Nebraska Masonic Home Chapel so that my father, Clifford Clemons Sr., could be there to witness it meant more to our family than words can express.

I want to extend a special ‘thank you’ to Worshipful Master Robert "Hoagy" Hoagland for unconditionally welcoming and accommodating my father's request for the Masonic Home to host the event and to allow two respected Brothers from Ohio participate in the ceremony. Seeing my father so proud, knowing his own long history as a Master Mason and Worshipful Master in Cincinnati, made this event truly unforgettable.

After 50 years of watching my father’s dedication to the brotherhood, witnessing the care and community at the Nebraska Masonic Home inspired me to finally take this step myself. Thank you, Plattsmouth Lodge #6 for your warmth, your brotherhood, and for creating a truly historic and meaningful event for my family.
