During orientation this week, our incoming perfusion students visited iEXCEL UNMC to experience the VR bypass machines and explore 3D heart models. The VR bypass and ECMO training modules they used were designed by our own perfusion students and include interactive quizzes to enhance learning.

It was a great opportunity to show our newest students how those who came before them have helped create innovative educational tools that will benefit future classes for years to come.
