Please join us in congratulating UNO SECD Alum, Kayla Dunlap!

​Kayla received the Education Rights Counsel Debora Basler Wisneski Inclusive Innovation in Education Award on August 26 at the Raise the Bar event. Kayla completed her Master's in Special Education at UNO in 2007 and has dedicated 21 years of teaching at Central Elementary in Bellevue Public Schools.

Ovi comes to UNO with over 19 years of ASL teaching experiences within the schools and in higher education. As he starts the year at UNO, Ovi is most excited about collaborating with fellow instructors and finding ways to contribute in the UNO community. Welcome Teresa Franks to the SECD Family!

Teresa began working at UNO as an adjunct a few years ago and now joins us full-time as a Dyslexia Specialist Instructor. She has over 15 years of experience working in public schools. She is excited to be a guide for her students and watch them make a profound impact on students they teach. In Teresa's free time, she enjoys pilates and being a dyslexia advocate in the community.
