At this semester’s Academic Convocation, Dr. Daniel Gurtner presented “Qumran Wisdom and Matthean Christology,” a careful look at how Jewish wisdom traditions illuminate the way Matthew presents Jesus.

When our faculty dig deep into God’s Word, the church is strengthened, and the next generation of leaders is formed to handle Scripture with reverence and conviction.

Dr. Lenow of the ERLC reminded us that our identity doesn’t come from our influence. It comes from Christ. Those who belong to Him are sent into the world to show the truth, not merely defend it with their words.
