While the world knows Prince as a musical genius, a fashion icon, and a boundary-pushing visionary, he was also a fierce, lifelong advocate for education and continuing education.

Prince understood that learning doesn't stop when you walk across a stage or reach a certain age. He quietly and passionately supported educational initiatives throughout his life because he knew that true empowerment comes from acquiring knowledge and mastering a craft. He believed in giving people the tools to constantly reinvent themselves, grow, and pursue their excellence—values that sit at the absolute heart of everything we do here at South Coast College.
Every day, we see students from all walks of life take control of their futures through our programs. Whether they are starting a brand-new career path or upgrading their skills to reach the next level, they embody that same spirit of relentless curiosity and self-determination.
