We're proud to celebrate our alumnus, Dusan Brown '25, whose award-winning short film, ALL IN, is now streaming on AMC+ as part of the Chicago XL: Future of Film Showcase!🎬🏆

The film has screened at festivals, earned multiple awards, and was recognized as a Student Academy Awards Semifinalist.

If you have AMC+, be sure to stream ALL IN (Episode 4) before the end of the month and help support one of our talented alumni!

📣 Saturday Shoutout 📣

Congratulations to Jason Willman ’22 on becoming Chapman University’s new swimming and diving coach! 🏊

Jason becomes the fifth coach in program history to have also competed as a student-athlete on the team, bringing a unique perspective and firsthand experience to his new role.

We’re proud to celebrate Jason as he takes on this exciting new chapter and can’t wait to see all he accomplishes with the Chapman swimming and diving program 👏

Introducing the Chapman Community Chorale!🎶

Chapman alumni and community members are invited to join this unique ensemble, reconnect with Chapman, meet current students, and make music together. No audition required!

The first rehearsal is Monday, August 24, at 7 p.m., and new members are also welcome at the second rehearsal on Monday, August 31.

Rehearsals take place Mondays from 7–9:50 p.m. in Bertea Hall, Room 109.

📣 Saturday Shoutout 📣

Congratulations to Orson Ossman ’12 on writing and directing an audio miniseries featuring Keith David, John Goodman and Glynn Turman! 🎧

The series also highlights the talents of fellow Chapman alumni Matt Schwartz and Tom Ouziel, who contributed sound design, alongside sound supervisor Randy Thom of Skywalker Sound and an original score by Taj Mahal. The miniseries is currently airing on public radio stations nationwide and became available on audiobook and podcast platforms on July 7.

We’re proud to celebrate Orson and the Chapman alumni making their mark in the world of audio storytelling. 👏

Teachers Hannah Mangold (MA ’24) and her sister Mackenzie Mangold (MA ’23) are sharing their Panther Pointers for helping kids head back to school with confidence.

Congratulations to Ken Bunt ’93 on being named the Recording Industry Association of America’s Label Executive of the Year! 🎵

As President of Disney Music Group and a member of Chapman University’s Board of Trustees, Ken has built an outstanding career in the music industry. Reflecting on the honor, he shared, “I’m just thrilled to do what I do and help make human connections. I think that’s the thing that I love most about music—it really connects people.”

We’re proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition and grateful to have Ken representing the Chapman community. 👏
