Last chance this week to sign up and join the 2022 edition of Business in Scandinavia being offered in honor of the memory of course co-founder Dr. Clas Wihlborg. The route this time will take us to the three largest cities in Sweden: Stockholm, Malmö (in the Greater Copenhagen Region), and Gothenburg. Delighted that my colleague Gokcen Coskuner-Balli agreed to serve as my Faculty co-leader on this trip!

Old message: The 2020, 10th Anniversary edition of Business in Scandinavia is currently being planned including an alumni event on Iceland! If you are a Chapman University graduate student interested in this experience, please save the dates May 31-June 13 for the trip and for priority consideration, please declare your interest to participate asap by emailing myhr at chapman.edu or wihlborg at chapman.edu! If you are an alumni interested in more updates regarding the May 31-June 3 meetup on Iceland (together with this year's cohort), please let us know as well!

Sad to hear that IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad has passed on. His legend will live on such as via Sven-Erik Bucht who shared the story with our Business in Scandinavia travel course when we were in Kukkolaforsen Turist & Konferens AB on how he got IKEA to set up the world's northernmost IKEA store in Haparanda
