Lamar State College Orange will resume normal operations for Thursday, September 3, 2026. This includes all in-person, hybrid and online classes in Orange, Lumberton, Livingston and San Marcos.

Student Services in the Student Success Center will close at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, due to a scheduled system outage. This closure includes Admissions, Records, Advising, Cashiering and Financial Aid. Please plan ahead if you need assistance from these offices on Monday. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Today, Commissioner Representing Labor Alberto Treviño III presented a Skills Development Fund grant award totaling $489,624 to Lamar State College Orange.

Through this grant, Lamar State College Orange will provide customized training for 241 employees of Arlanxeo Orange Site, Chevron Phillips Chemical, and Indorama Ventures Oxides for careers as machinists, nurses, chemical engineers, lab technicians, and more.
