🚗🔧 In just THREE weeks, our Co-op students will be making their next big move!

Students currently training at our Vehicle Tech Training Center will head out to their sponsoring dealer locations, while those gaining hands-on experience in the field will return to campus to sharpen their skills even further. This exciting transition happens every eight weeks over the course of our two-year program - creating continuous momentum, growth, and real-world experience.

Our *Earn While You Learn* model isn’t just a slogan - it’s a career accelerator. Students build technical expertise in our state-of-the-art training center and then immediately apply those skills in real dealership environments.

This year’s Spring Opening Day was truly inspiring!

Our faculty and staff heard from incredible leaders, and the Vehicle Tech Training Center was proud to be represented by former VTTC student Jackson Lieber, who shared his journey of success and introduced Scott Bieler, President & CEO of West Herr—where Jackson is now thriving in his career.

Huge thanks to our fearless leader, Dr. Tsegai, for cultivating a culture where faculty and staff can grow—because when employees are happy, students succeed.

Thank you to our Opening Keynote, Ted Hadzi-Antich, Jr., Associate Professor at Austin Community College and Executive Director of the Great Questions Foundation, for promoting discussion-based learning at community colleges.

A special thank-you to our Headliner Keynote, Scott Bieler, for sharing powerful insights on leadership, organizational culture, and what truly drives success.

And of course, a big shoutout to VTTC’s own Jackson Lieber for showing us that hard work truly pays off! 👏🚗

🎉 Huge shout out to our Automotive Maintenance Program students on completing their 15-week certification! 🚗

Through hands-on training and lab instruction, in a West Herr Auto Group maintenance facility, these graduates are ready to fast-track into the automotive industry, taking on entry-level roles in maintenance and light repair. We’re proud of you!

Yesterday, we celebrated the retirement of two of our program's biggest supporters: Chris Sledziewski and Bill Holm, both proudly worked for Northtown Automotive.

Chris and Bill have been more than just partners; they have been true friends to our students, our department, and the entire college. From Chris’s dedicated years on our Advisory Council to their shared commitment to student success, their impact is woven into the fabric of our program.

We will miss having you both in person, but we know you will be with us in spirit every step of the way.

One of our absolute favorite events to host at the Vehicle Tech Training Center is our bi-annual Career Fair! 🎉

Students from our Vehicle Tech, P-TECH, and Automotive & Collision programs connected with 15 amazing partners and vendors, exploring exciting career and internship opportunities.

With 80+ students in attendance, the energy was high- great conversations, delicious food, and some seriously cool prizes were enjoyed by all! 😎

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event a success!
