its committed, supportive faculty and staff, CCC offers programs and services in career technical, college transfer, literacy/basic skills, community education and business training to a diverse student body totaling more than 26,000 at three active campuses. CCC fosters an open, collaborative decision-making process in which every voice is important. Staff, faculty and students actively contribute their views to help shape decisions and the culture of the college. Do you take the bus to CCC? TriMet has made some changes to transit service. Among other changes, Lines 29 and 152 are being combined into Line 29-International Way; Lines 31, 32 and 34 are being combined into Line 31-Webster/Beavercreek and Line 34-Oatfield/River Rd; and route changes are being made on several more lines, including Line 33 now bypassing High St.

Help shape the future of Clackamas Community College. CCC is seeking community members to serve on its Budget Committee. Openings are still available in:

• Zone 1: Milwaukie
• Zone 6: Estacada/Colton/Molalla/Canby

Applicants must be registered voters who live in the zone they wish to represent. College employees are not eligible. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24.

Come check out galaxies, stars, the moon and more at the annual Star Party hosted by the Environmental Learning Center and Rose City Astronomers on Aug. 27 from 8:30 to 11 p.m.

Take a guided night hike beginning at 7 p.m., followed by viewing the full moon and partial lunar eclipse from telescopes at the Yellow parking lot on CCC's Oregon City campus.

Due to walking path construction, the entrance at Molalla Avenue and Highway 213 is closed today, Friday, Aug. 14. The Meyers Road and Beavercreek entrances are open, and TriMet is operating its regular bus routes through the alternate campus entrances.
