Students can hand an assignment to AI and turn in work they don't understand. Banning AI doesn't work, and ignoring it works even less. So what does work?

Join us for a free MyEducator Live webinar with Dr. Mark Keith of Brigham Young University. He'll share the AI Engagement Model, a practical way to design courses where AI raises learning instead of replacing it, and how to tell the difference in student work.

You'll leave with activities you can use in any course, whatever textbook you teach from.

Business Analytics with Excel in the Age of AI teaches students the full range of business analytics, descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive, using Excel as the vehicle for understanding core models, internal mechanics, and logic before layering in AI. Students learn how BA transforms raw data into strategic advantage across marketing, finance, and operations, covering business intelligence and data warehousing, statistical modeling, forecasting and optimization, data mining, and natural language processing. Throughout, the course shows how AI enhances and externally validates analytical solutions, helping students move past the hype to use AI for real, tangible business outcomes.

We're heading to Reno! MyEducator will be exhibiting at the Association for Information Systems AMCIS – The Americas Conference on Information Systems, August 20 to 22 at the Resort Spa Casino Reno.

This year's theme, "The Next Transformation," couldn't be a better fit for what we're building. While the conference explores how AI and digital innovation are reshaping the way we work, learn, and teach, we'll be at our booth showing what that transformation actually looks like: native digital courseware built from the ground up (not retrofitted textbooks), and an AI assistant that instructors can train on their own syllabus, case studies, and readings to enhance student engagement and learning.

We'll also be giving a first look at our upcoming AI Dialogue feature, which moves assessment beyond static questions into real conversations like role-plays, debates, and case discussions.

If your students need more than a static textbook, stop by our booth during exhibit hours to see it firsthand. We'd love to show you what a truly interactive, instructor-controlled AI platform can do for your classroom.

See you in Reno.

This is the semester demographers have been warning us about for a decade.

Fall 2026 is when the college-age population starts feeling the post-2008 birthrate decline — high school graduates peaked last year, and projections show roughly a 12-point drop in 18-year-olds enrolling in college by 2030. Regional public and private nonprofit institutions will feel it first and hardest. Community colleges, backed by affordability and dual-enrollment growth, are more insulated.

For anyone building courseware or supporting instructors, this isn't just a demographics story — it's a budget story. When institutions are fighting for every student and every tuition dollar, the calculus around course materials changes. Affordability stops being a nice-to-have and becomes a retention strategy.

This is exactly where MyEducator fits in. We've built our pricing around the assumption that courseware shouldn't be the reason a student drops a class or an institution bleeds enrollment — we offer some of the lowest course material pricing in the industry, without cutting corners on the resource itself. When budgets get tighter on both sides of the transaction, that math starts to matter a lot more than it used to.

The providers that help institutions do more with fewer students — better outcomes, lower cost per student, less administrative overhead — are the ones that will matter most over the next five years. We think affordability is going to move from a nice-to-have talking point to the actual deciding factor in a lot of adoption conversations.

A pattern is emerging in higher ed courseware: AI shows up as its own bundled product, sitting next to the textbook rather than inside it. A simulation here, a chatbot there, each with its own environment — genuinely useful, but a separate thing a student has to enter and an instructor has to weave into the syllabus alongside the actual course material.

We built it differently. At MyEducator, AI isn't a bundled add-on — it's built into the resource itself. Students get feedback, practice, and support in the same place they're already reading, working problems, and doing the assignment, without switching to a different tool or a different login. Instructors don't have to sequence a separate product against their courseware; the AI is just part of how the resource already works.

That distinction matters more than it sounds like. Every separate product is friction: another environment to set up, another thing to keep paced against the syllabus, another login for a student already juggling five platforms. The courseware that wins the next few years won't be the one with the flashiest standalone AI simulation. It'll be the one where AI is simply part of the resource, not a bolt-on next to it.

This resource teaches students to treat AI as a decision-making partner, not a shortcut. Using a running business case, students build real judgment: when to trust AI output, verify it, or take over manually, progressing from prompting through problem framing, analysis, and delegation, all practiced across Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini so the skills transfer anywhere. Grounded in real executive workflows, built for durable AI fluency in professional and business programs.
