Attention all Project Spotlightonians!!

Don’t forget to attend our first company meeting of the Fall 2026 season! Still not sure about if project spotlight is the place for you? Don’t be silly!! Feel free to come join us to test us out!

It’s that time of year again! Playwright applications for our UCF Celebrates the Arts Full Length production are open now until June 1st!
Do you have a full length play to share? Have you ever wanted to be a mind behind one of our CTA productions? This is your chance!
Writing not your thing? No problem! We’ll have several other CTA and general applications opening over the summer. Keep an eye out for more! And always check our linktree for what we have going on :).

Project Spotlight has had the honor of putting on our full-length play - Death of an Author - at the Dr. Phillips Center for UCF Celebrates the Arts. We have faced some unexpected expenses with set, catering for tech, and other needs that arose. Any donation made will go directly into these costs. Anything extra would go directly into supporting our 2026-2027 season.

Project Spotlight is UCF’s only student developmental theatre company. We put on 15+ shows a year and everything we put on is written, directed, and designed by students!

We appreciate any and all support!

Come check out our next performance - Death of an Author - at the UCF BlackBox Theatre April 16th (7:00 pm), 17th (7:00 pm), 18th (7:00 pm), and 19th (2:00 pm). Free admission!

Our first day of tech rehearsal for Death of an Author was a success! We’re back at the bright and early to prepare for the amazing show tonight.
