Dear members of the Beta Psi community and followers of this page,
We are posting today to inform you all of the official closure of the Beta Psi chapter.
We would like to offer the opportunity for local alumni and prior alumni of the chapter to still find community with one another. Here are a few resources that you can get involved with:

Thank you everybody for liking our page and being a part of the Delta Lambda Phi chapter here at UCF. It has been an awesome run we had here at UCF. We had so many fun and wonderful times with our siblings throughout campus. Unfortunately, like all dances we are playing the last song. Even though we are closing we hope our time at UCF was fireworks in your eyes, something bright to spread the hope and love Delta Lambda Phi was created to do. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your love, support, and time spent with us through our decade long run here.

One of the biggest goals we hoped we have achieved is to open up the eyes of our siblings and to really show that no matter what gender you are or who you love your fraternity and sorority siblings will love you no matter what. University of Central Florida has been with us through great achievements but also great tragedies that we as a community came together after the Pulse tragedy. When the community was in the dark shaken and not sure of the future our siblings from all Greek life came together as one to really show their love and that love will always win the battle over hate.

To our current and future UCF students that might question themselves and not sure about being accepted. We have an amazing alumni brother Michael Nunes that works with our LGTB+ students to help you find a place and group to help you feel comfortable. Well I guess that is it the last song has been played. We won't say goodbye because this is not the end we will say see you around for we hope that the spirit of Delta Lambda Phi will live in everybody and the spirit of acceptance will be open. Thank you UCF and CHARGE ON!!!

We at DLP are deeply saddened by the loss of Chadwick Boseman. His portrayal of Black Panther and other Black figures in film bacame an inspiration for many black people. He will be missed.

Just want to give a big shoutout to our siblings of the Beta Psi chapter of Delta Lambda Phi, in this trying time I know things were rough and we couldn't always be together but we were together in spirit. To our siblings from Greek life and all of UCF that are graduating congrats you might be moving on with life but you will always be family here at UCF and also Delta Lambda Phi! CHARGE ON!
