Argus University (AU) was established in late 2010 to service the needs of our special operations, and specialized police and security units worldwide. Acting as the training division of Argus International Risk Services, a McLean, Virginia based global provider of security, intelligence, logistics and training solutions, AU has become the internationally authoritative expert on delivering special
ized curriculum that save lives and change the face of conflict engagement and resolution tactics. Based in Orlando, Florida, with affiliate training centers across the United States, AU’s campus headquarters is comprised of 98,000 square feet of state of the art training technologies and facilities. Able to support multiple courses simultaneously, AU offers trainees a world-class facility to learn or refresh the unique skills of their trade. Each instructor has served a minimum of 10 years in their training discipline, have advanced education degrees, and their recent ex-perience thresholds must have been within five years of instruction in order for their knowledge to be relevant to current global threats and training environments. Depending on the course of instruction, the instructor may be required to have higher level certifications with executive level management roles within agencies such as the Diplomatic Security Service, Department of Energy, DoD, FBI, DEA, US Secret Service, CIA, US Marshall, or within (JSOC) Joint Special Operations Command (Delta, SEALs, Marine Force Recon, Air Force Special Operations). For our Special Operations courses, each instructor has not only served as a practitioner within Special Operations, but has also excelled as a qualified Instructor within the elite units.
