🔹 Every June, we come together to honor the past, celebrate the present, and fight for a more inclusive future.

🔹 Pride Month commemorates the Stonewall Riots of June 28, 1969, when LGBTQ+ individuals at the Stonewall Inn in NYC courageously resisted police brutality and discrimination. That moment sparked a global movement for LGBTQ+ civil rights 🏳️‍🌈

🔹 57 years later, we continue to celebrate Pride as a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come, and how far we still have to go.

🔹 True allyship starts with awareness. By learning about the intersectional identities and lived experiences within the LGBTQ+ community, we create space for everyone to be seen, heard, and valued.

🏳️‍🌈 To all our brothers, sisters, and friends who celebrate, we see you, we support you, and we celebrate with you. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

Last week, our brother, Andrew ‘Iluminado’ Collazo Borges flew with his family to California to celebrate him and his twin brother’s graduation. While in Cali, Andrew visited many beautiful places like Little Tokyo, The Getty Center, and Santa Monica Pier and saw many beautiful pieces of artwork and various cultures.

🔹Today, we honor and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.—an activist, visionary, and leader who dedicated his life to the fight for equality, despite immense opposition.

🔹Inspired by his example, let’s continue working to be positive forces for change in the world 🤝

🔹Did you know? The push to recognize MLK Day began in 1968, just four days after his assassination. Civil rights activists campaigned for 15 years before it was officially established as a federal holiday, and it took another 17 years for all 50 states to recognize it.

🔹Today, MLK Day stands as the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service, encouraging everyone to volunteer and make a difference in their communities.
