The newest additions to the Acrisure Bounce House were created by one of our own. 🎨 SVAD alum Harry Foreman ’18 designed two custom murals for Roth Tower, blending University of Central Florida spirit with nods to Orlando, Orange County and the community that helped shape his career. 💛

Congratulations to SVAD Assistant Professor of Sculpture Bobby Aiosa on receiving an Honorable Mention in Breaking Ground, the 32nd Annual Juried Woodworking Exhibition at the Wharton Esherick Museum! 👏

Celebrating 100 years since the completion of the first phase of Wharton Esherick’s iconic Studio, this year’s exhibition invited contemporary artists to explore what it means to be “groundbreaking” through imagination, skill and craft.

Aiosa’s work will be on display in the museum’s Visitor Center through Sept. 20 and can also be viewed as part of the virtual exhibition at https://whartonesherickmuseum.org/exhibition/breaking-ground/

Join us on Thursday, July 9, from 6-8 p.m. at the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens for Pages of You: Crafting Your Personal Journal. The workshop is led by UCF graduate student Stacie Becker, an exhibiting artist in Identity: Reflections of Self.

No experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Bring photos, notes, ticket stubs, pressed flowers, or other meaningful mementos to create a one-of-a-kind journal.
