Many of you are interested in JAPAN. A fellow English instructor, Drew Sanford, has a youtube channel with dozens of VERY good, VERY informative, VERY accurate videos about different aspects of life in Japan. PLEASE SUBSCRIBE to his channel. You will learn so much about Japan.

This particular video is of a ride on the shinkansen -- the bullet train. Having lived in Japan for 6 years, I had a very nostalgic feeling when I watched this video. This nostalgia was brought on by seeing this trip on the shinkansen -- this is EXACTLY what it is like to ride a shinkansen -- and zoom quietly by the green rice fields flying by out the window between mountains. This is such a typical Japanese landscape scene.

For our school in Taoyuan we are looking for two English teachers.
- Students are 3-12 years old, 8-16 students per class.
- Full curriculum and materials provided.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A passport from the United States, Ireland, United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada.
- Associate or bachelor degree.
- 120-hour TEFL certificate.
- A clear criminal background.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- 600-640 TWD (21.50-23 USD) starting hourly rate.
- National health insurance.
- 14 days holiday.
- Guaranteed 20 teaching hours per week.
- 15,000 TWD end of contract bonus.
- Orientation training, welfare support, and western management.
