Whether he’s serving our country or our college community, this week’s has dedicated his life to serving others.

Every day, Stephan Walker, Operations Manager, Continued Education and Accelerated Skills Training (AST), works alongside his AST colleagues, “coordinating facilities, equipment, purchases, schedules, events and operational logistics” to ensure that all programs run efficiently.

Stephan’s dedication to service began decades before stepping onto the Campus. Before joining the college in 2024, he served more than 20 years in the U.S. Army and as a Senior Noncommissioned Officer.

Looking for a free and eco-friendly way to get to class and around town? Current Valencia College students and employees are eligible to ride all LYNX routes for with their Valencia College ID.

Thanks to our partnership with Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority(LYNX), bus services are available on all LYNX fixed routes, including Valencia College campuses and NeighborLink routes during times LYNX is in service.

Are you looking for a part-time role that makes a big impact?

Valencia College is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Coordinator, YouthBuild, to join the Orange County YouthBuild program part-time on West Campus.

This grant-funded position will provide case management to participants in the YouthBuild Global and Orange County, Florida Government program, a pre-apprenticeship program that provides job training and educational opportunities for youth, ages 16-24, who have previously dropped out of high school. The coordinator will also work with students to develop individualized plans and job in accordance with participant needs.
