Please join us for a celebration of Robin Arnold’s life. Robin was a University of Maine employee for 39 years, working in various units across campus and volunteering on multiple University committees throughout her long career.

We hope you will join us as we share memories of Robin, and gratitude for how she touched our individual lives.

Congratulations to our 2026 Outstanding Alumni Award Winners: Amy Morin, BSW '01; Michael Steed Augustine, MSW '13, and Genevieve Doughty, MSW '20! The Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes BSW and MSW alumni who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and achievement in social work. Our award winners will receive their recognition tonight at the School of Social Work Graduation Celebration.

Thank you to our amazing BSW students! Last Wednesday, they volunteered on Maine Day to help the School of Social upgrade our student lounge. This new space is more accessible and allows for a larger space for our students. Thank you, again!

Photo 1: Scott Dillon, MSW student, presented research from the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement project focused on the health education delivery preferences among caregivers at the 2026 UMaine Student Symposium
Photo 2: Valentina Levesque (MSW student) and Alyssa Limeburner (MSW student, absent in pic) presented a poster at the 2026 UMaine Student Symposium on older adult volunteer perceptions of the benefits and challenges of virtual volunteerism
Photo 3: Congratulations to BSW student Erin Grabe for the successful completion of her Maine Policy Scholars project entitled "Barriers to Preventive Service Provision in Maine's Child Welfare System." Erin presented her research to a panel of policy experts on April 17th.
