Alpha Tau Omega at Maine We are the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega; a leadership development fraternity

The Beta Upsilon Chapter, based at the University of Maine - Orono, is a chapter focused on improving our community and developing leaders in the process. We hold a 3.3 GPA average and persistently place as one of the top Fraternities at Umaine. Since our rechartering in 2013, we have been named the Most Improved Fraternity and awarded the National True Merit Award, Excellence Award for Community

Involvement, along with our Brothers receiving many accolades for their individual accomplishments. Our Brothers come together from vastly different backgrounds and varied paths of pursuit. We are a place where a Chemical Engineer seeking to overhaul the energy crisis that plagues our world, a Microbiologist who wants to find cures to the deadliest of pathogenic diseases, and a Financial Manager who dreams to budget funds for impactful technology companies, can unite as Brothers. We hold ourselves to the highest standard and seek to develop scholastically centered, moral and ethically righteous, passionate leaders.
