"Sophomore Eagles Honor Society
The first eleven Sophomore Eagles were chosen in December 1926 on the basis of character, scholarship, leadership, friendliness, and participation in college activities. The “Sophomore Eagles” name was created to be a counterpart to the Owls and chose a blue star as their symbol. Just as with the Skulls, AMW and Owls, the Eagle’s role has changed with the times and today partners with these groups on a variety of activities."

This spring break, the Sophomore Eagles took to the outdoors! 🌲
Following the National Women’s History Alliance 2026 Theme “LEADING THE CHANGE: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future”, many of our members took a step outside this spring break in honor! This theme honors the women who have and are reimagining and rebuilding systems to ensure long-term sustainability! Check out our woman of the week, Lulú Barrera, who lead a forefront for economic and environmental equity demands that continue to push the modern political scene in a feminist direction! 🦅
