UMaine Student Wellness The Student Wellness Resource Center (SWell) aims to provide resources that empower the UMaine commun

SWell is dedicated to achieving our mission of providing programming and resources on subjects including:

• Alcohol
• Cannabis
• Tobacco
• Other drugs
• Hazing prevention
• Nutrition
• Physical fitness
• Distracted driving
• Sexual health
• Sexual assault prevention
• And other health promotion topics

In addition, we are responsible for the organization of community-wide programs such as the Hea

lthy High and the Black Bear Marathon. The Student Wellness Resource Center offers students opportunities to look at personal behaviors and options to choose healthy lifestyles- grounded in harm-reduction and the acceptance of personal responsibility for actions. Come join us for a day of rides and prizes for a fun way to learn about mental wellness and mental health resources on campus! Bear the dog will be there and we’ll have cows from Witter Farm along with rides like a mechanical skateboard and climbing wall.
